The Team
Iiley R. Thompson (Senior) has spent a career in footwear — from Nike and Adidas to founding Under Armour's footwear division and building programs for REI. He's the hands on the product, and the reason a small brand can get big-league development without the big-league runaround.
Iiley J. Thompson (Junior) pairs that heritage with a modern lens — sustainable materials and a digital-marketing background from one of North America's largest Google Premier Partner agencies. He keeps the product commercial: built to perform and built to sell.
Double i Works started where a lot of good footwear starts — a garage outside Portland, Oregon, with someone who'd spent decades learning how a shoe is really made. Today it runs from the Tennessee countryside, about an hour from Nashville: the same hands-on approach, a quieter place to do the work, and room to build what's next.
